Engine and vehicle simulation

OBJECTIVES

• Upstream evaluation of the impact in terms of performance, fuel consumption and emissions of:
- a vehicle architecture (conventional, standard hybrid, parallel hybrid, etc.)
- the characteristics (power, efficiency, etc.) of a component (internal combustion engine, transmission, etc.)
- a global energy system management strategy
- an energy system (internal combustion engine, transmission, etc.)
• Pre-calibration of engine control
• Analyze / Understand an existing vehicle
• Technological design
• Development of engine control strategies
• Pre-calibration of engine control

TOOLS

LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim
IFP-DRIVE libraries
IFP-ENGINE, IFP-EXHAUST libraries and other standard libraries
Co-simulation and complete export with Matlab-Simulink
Real-time compatibility for the main platforms (dSPACE, RTlab, xPCTarget)
