At IFP Energies nouvelles we roll out all our programs through projects with clearly-defined goals reflecting our missions and strategic priorities, and industry's requirements.
Every project is in the hands of a project manager who leads a multidisciplinary team of researchers from across our various research divisions. This eminently flexible and efficient system enables us to harness talent from across the organization and thereby spur innovation.
Organizing research and development programs through this matrix-based structure also enables us to submit project-based bids in response to calls for proposals from the National Research Agency (ANR – Agence Nationale de la Recherche) and European Commission (via FWPs).
