CO2

The CO2 capture - transport - storage approach involves capturing CO2, transporting it to a storage facility, then injecting it into the subsoil to store it. The injection phase is followed by a surveillance phase.

To ensure an industrial outlet for its R&D actions in the field of capture, after-combustion and storage, IFP Energies nouvelles has forged a partnership with two of its subsidiaries: Prosernat and Geogreen.

Drawing on its recognized expertise in the field of sour natural gas treatment, Prosernat proposes its engineering services for capturing CO2 in flue gases.

Geogreen is an international engineering services company specializing in the transport and geological storage of CO2.
