Impact of biofuel development on water in France by 2030

In collaboration with numerous partners, IFP Energies nouvelles recently conducted a study relating to the impact of biofuel development on water in France by 2030. Published in September 2009, the study, for the benefit of government authorities, highlighted the principal issues and challenges relative to the use of biofuels.

Evaluating the energy uses of biomass - ANR BIOMAP project (2008-2010)

The partners of the ANR Biomap project have just published a methodological guide for the assessment of future bio-energy technologies (heat, electricity and fuel production using plant biomass). Coordinated by IFP Energies nouvelles and involving Air Liquide, the Arvalis/Onidol economic interest group, the CEA, EDF, FCBA, Ineris, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Renault, Sita France and Total, the Biomap project was aimed at applying and consolidating the assessment methodology relating to bio-technologies established within the context of the ANR Anabio project (2006/2007).
