Originally, Eurocat's main line of business was treating and regenerating spent catalysts. It has since developed new business areas: preconditioning and presulfiding catalysts, and recycling spent ones. Today, Eurocat is a world leader in catalyst regeneration and conditioning services.
Eurecat operates in Europe, as well as in the USA and Saudi Arabia. Its subsidiary, Petroval, acquired in 1998, provides systems for loading catalysts as well as technical support services on industrial sites across the world.

2010 Highlights

2010 was marked by sustained growth of Eurecat's business in the USA. The acquisition of a new catalytic microtest unit in the La Voulte laboratory (Ardèche region) has made Eurecat a reference in the field. A partnership deal was also signed with Tricat to market the latter's sulfurization technology in Europe. Finally, a cooperation agreement relating to used catalyst recycling was signed with the Eramet group's Valdi and GCMC subsidiaries.
