Appointment at IFP

Denis Guillaume has been appointed Director of the Catalysis and Separation Division. He takes over from Pierre Beccat who has been appointed to another role.

Denis Guillaume, 39, has a Ph.D. in oil sciences from Pierre et Marie Curie university. He spent two years at the CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) before joining IFP in 1999 as an engineer in the Kinetics and Catalysis Division.
In 2005, he was appointed "Development of residue hydrotreatment and hydroconversion catalysts" project manager. In 2007, he went on to become Head of the Catalysis by Sulfides Department in the Catalysis and Separation Division.
