Since industrial activities generate CO2 emissions and use water resources, IFP Energies nouvelles develops CO2 capture, transport and geological storage processes to combat global warming. It also works on technologies aimed at optimizing industry's use of water.
In order to reconcile the use of these resources with control of the emissions involved in climate change, CO2 capture and storage are a promising approach with significant economic and industrial implications.
