Documentary holdings
As part of its mission to provide information, IFP Energies nouvelles has set up a reference scientific, technical and economic information and documentation center in the fields of energy, transport and the environment.
The IFP Energies nouvelles documentary holdings includes: 80,000 books of which 13,500 conference proceedings - 600 journals subscriptions and over than 3000 electronic journal titles - 5,500 maps - 7,000 thesis. In addition, electronic access to various databases is provided.
It covers the following topics:
• History of petroleum and oil companies
• Geology, exploration, drilling, production, reservoir engineering
• Refining, petrochemistry
• Internal combustion engine, vehicles, fuels and lubricants
• Energy economy
• Oil markets and energy prices
• Renewable energies: biofuels, geothermal science, solar energy, etc.
• Environment, pollution: sustainable development, CO2 sequestration, etc.

Accessing the IFP Energies nouvelles information center in Rueil-Malmaison
The IFP Energies nouvelles Rueil information center is open to the general public, by appointment only (Tel.: +33 (0)1 47 52 63 92), from Monday to Thursday (1pm-6pm) and Friday (1pm-4pm).
The documentary holdings materials and electronic resources may be consulted on the premises. Librarians are at the public disposal to help search for information. A large proportion of the documents are used by IFP Energies nouvelles staff, so we cannot guarantee that they will be available immediately.
Entry to the information center is free. In compliance with copyright laws, photocopying incurs a charge at the following rates: 10 copies (€3), 20 copies (€5), 50 copies (€10), 100 copies (€20).
On the day of your appointment, go to the Tamaris building reception desk with your identity papers: 232, avenue Napoléon Bonaparte - 92 500 Rueil-Malmaison - France.
