The Oil & Gas Science and Technology (OGST) journal is IFP Energies nouvelles’ bimonthly journal.

Indexed in the major international databases, this Open Access journal (over 90% of its articles were submitted by non-IFPEN authors in 2016) covers all the disciplines and fields of activity within IFPEN’s scope (exploration, production, refining, petrochemicals, oil and gas economy, as well as alternative energies in the context of the energy transition).

Benoît Noetinger, 56 years old, is an engineer who graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and holds a PhD in the statistical physics of liquids from Pierre et Marie Curie University (UPMC).

IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) is a major research and training player in the fields of energy, transport and the environment. From research to industry, technological innovation is central to all its activities, structured around three strategic priorities: sustainable mobility, new energies and responsible oil and gas.
While the dissemination of knowledge is one of IFPEN’s public interest missions, it also contributes to its scientific influence, and, more broadly, that of French and European research on the international stage. IFPEN has built up a unique body of knowledge as a result of several decades of scientific research and industrial successes.
