We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) and NaTran (formerly GRTgaz), a key player in innovative transport solutions. This agreement marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration dedicated to developing cutting-edge technologies for the safe, efficient, and sustainable transport of CO2 and H2.
The initial areas of collaboration will be developed between IFPEN experts and NaTran R&I (formerly RICE) with the goal of establishing future quality standards for captured and transported CO2. This initiative aims to define rigorous and essential criteria to ensure the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of transport infrastructure.
By combining IFPEN's recognized expertise in energy innovation and NaTran's know-how in transport infrastructure, this partnership aims to accelerate the energy transition and address the challenges of decarbonization. Together, IFPEN and NaTran R&I plan to design innovative solutions that will help structure the transport networks of tomorrow.
