IFPEN, earth2 and Région Nouvelle Aquitaine are organising a seminar in Brussels on 1st July on natural hydrogen and its potential for Europe.
The seminar will consist of four sessions :
- Scientific knowledge and resource potential
- Prospects in Europe
- Regulatory framework for the deployment of the sector
- Financing the H2 natural ecosystem
Natural hydrogen represents an emerging and promising opportunity for Europe: a potential new primary energy resource for the continent. Produced naturally by the Earth, it offers a very low-carbon solution with potentially highly competitive production costs. It has the potential to become a key pillar of the energy transition and European energy sovereignty.
