The 18th International Congress on Catalysis (ICC) will be organized in France following the success of the country’s bid* to host the event, as voted for by the members of the IACS (International Association of Catalysis Societies). This major event, bringing together between 1,500 and 2,000 people from the catalysis community every four years, will be held in Lyon from 14 to 19 July 2024.
The successful bid, reflecting recognition of French research in the field of catalysis, is the result of 3 years of work by the contributing institutions, including the SCF (French Chemistry Society), the Fondation de la Maison de la Chimie, IRCELYON and IFPEN whose expertise in the field has proved invaluable.
The ICC Lyon 2024 website will be updated as preparations progress. In the fall of 2020, further information will be available concerning the practical arrangements for those wishing to take part.
