From October 7 to 10, 2025, IFPEN will be present at Pollutec in Lyon, the leading event dedicated to environmental and energy solutions. Visit our booth (Hall 4 – J014) to discover our innovations supporting the ecological transition.

Discover our innovative solutions

Air quality: mobile and connected measuring devices capable of detecting various atmospheric molecules (Real-e and the Flair Suite), and an advanced air quality monitoring and environmental impact analysis platform for comprehensive emissions assessment and atmospheric dispersion modeling (Planet Air).

Water treatment and microplastics: IFPEN is studying the fate of microplastics in the environment and developing water treatment solutions, including a technology to capture plastic microfibers at the source, directly in household washing machines and industrial laundries (CleanWash)

Circular economy: Advanced recycling technologies for plastics and battery metals.

Bioeconomy: Technologies for the production of advanced biofuels and bio-based products.

Decarbonization: CO₂ capture and utilization technologies to produce synthetic fuels (e-fuels) or for underground storage (CCU/CCS).

IFPEN, a key player in open innovation

Are you an innovative company with R&D needs? IFPEN teams can also present our tailored support offer to help you develop your innovation.

This expertise stems from our close collaborations with businesses and industry. A strong example is the MAGELLAN® technology, an innovation incubated by IFPEN and co-developed with Solinjection to prevent cracks in houses built on clay soils—without environmental impact. Discover it at our booth.

Conferences and Exchanges

Take advantage of our conferences held twice daily (11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) at our booth to explore key topics such as open innovation, air quality, and the bioeconomy. The full program is available on our exhibitor page.

On October 8, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., IFPEN will also speak at the “Sustainable Industry” FORUM as part of a special focus on the Vallée de la Chimie. This session, organized by the Métropole de Lyon, will bring together AXEL’one, DECLYC, and CIRCULYZ to discuss key innovation challenges.

In the Lyon region, in partnership with ONLYLYON

October 9 at 7 p.m: Deputy Director General in charge of Innovation and Economic Development, Cécile Barrère-Tricca, will speak at the i-Factory evening of the University of Lyon, presenting regional actors and activities related to the transition themes.

October 9 (daytime): visit to our Lyon site for about fifteen participants to discover our technologies and our commitment to the energy transition firsthand.

A place for exchanges and celebration

Partners, industry representatives, and local authorities are invited to meet our experts to discuss potential collaborations and the industrialization of sustainable solutions.

As a founding member of the Axelera cluster, IFPEN is also proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Wednesday, October 8.

Join us to build together the solutions for a decarbonized and sustainable world.
