The UCAM 2026 scientific workshop will take place in person at IFPEN Lyon (Solaize, France) on November 16 and 17, 2026.
The event will focus on unconventional catalyst activation methods, such as microwave heating, plasma activation, magnetic induction, ultrasound, electric heating, etc.
The scientific program will feature introductory presentations by invited speakers covering the state of the art in the field, alongside additional presentations and a poster session. Two round-table discussions will compare various alternative activation technologies based on a real-world case study and address issues regarding scale-up and energy efficiency.
