In a few words

Main application areas of LCA: biofuels; wind turbines; hydrogen; water treatment; territorial LCA.

Main research themes on the LCA method: territorial LCA; multi-criteria decision support; parameterised models to estimate life cycle inventories; harmonisation of LCA practices for wind turbines.

Teaching activities: LCA module of the OWPD programme at IFP School.

Projects

AIDHY – PEPR H2 (2023–2028) (https://www.pepr-hydrogene.fr/projets/aidhy/):

  • Coordination of a work package to develop a multicriteria decision-support methodology for assessing the sustainability of low-carbon H2.
  • Supervision of a postdoctoral researcher to couple the Discrete Choice Experiment (a behavioural-economics method) with territorial LCA.
  • Collaboration with CEA‑Liten and CNRS‑LAMSADE.

LCA‑TASE – PEPR TASE (2023–2028) (https://www.pepr-tase.fr/projet/lcatase/):

  • Supervision of a postdoctoral researcher to develop parameterised models for estimating life cycle inventory data of onshore and offshore wind turbines, accounting for spatial dimension. The models’ estimation uncertainty can be incorporated into the LCA results.
  • Collaboration with Mines Paris and the University of Bordeaux.
