IFPEN and Uppsala University are pleased to announce the 2nd LB Wind International Conference, which will be held in-person at IFPEN Rueil-Malmaison (near Paris, France) from 30 September to 1st October 2026.
The LB Wind 2026 Conference aims to bring together researchers working on Lattice Boltzmann Methods (LBM) applied to wind energy and atmospheric flow simulations. A central theme of the conference is the use of LBM for atmospheric boundary layer flows, pollutant dispersion, air quality modeling, and wind-turbine aerodynamics, with a particular focus on wake dynamics.
Topics :
• Atmospheric flows
• Pollutant dispersion
• Indoor air quality
• Wakes and wind-farm flows
• Rotor and airfoil aerodynamics
