From June 5th to 8th, researchers and professionals in the field of energy, geosciences and engineering will gather in Vienna for the EAGE Annual 2023. This year's theme? " Securing a sustainable future together." IFPEN, through Carnot IFPEN RE, will be present alongside Beicip-Franlab to participate in the conversation among European leaders in the field and address the challenges of energy transition.

For its 84th edition,  invites the most renowned geoscientists, engineers and key players in the field of energy, geosciences and engineering to Vienna to discuss issues related to energy security and independence, as well as the need to adapt working methods and collaborations to future uncertainties.

The program includes conferences on the latest research in geophysics, geology, infrastructure, and reservoir engineering, integrated subsurface cases and energy transition. The topics related to analysis and decision-making, digitalization, partnerships, and financing will also be addressed.

Many of these discussions will revolve around CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage), hydrogen storage, and geothermal energy, fields in which IFPEN has developed innovative solutions to serve a decarbonized and sustainable world.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover IFPEN's expertise by engaging with the teams present (stand n°3475) and attending a workshop - Future Challenges in Geochemical Research for a Sustainable Environment - that will address current and future challenges in geochemistry. The workshop will offer insights into recent geochemical developments, from analysis to modeling, in the areas of exploration and production, evaluation of new energy resources, and underground carbon storage.

So, let's meet in Vienna, stand n° 3475, to discover IFPEN expertise in all those fields and build the world of tomorrow together!
