In a few words

PhD from the Sorbonne University  (PARIS-6) obtained in 1990 in the field of Computational Fluid Mechanics.

HDR (habilitation à diriger des recherches) from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INPT) obtained in 2006 in the field of numerical modeling of two-phase flow.

For many years, Dr. Habchi has been leading a cross-departmental group on the numerical modeling of two-phase flows (fuel properties, cavitation, atomization, spray, liquid film, SCR, etc.). His current fundamental research focuses on the coupling between CFD and real fluid thermodynamics.

HDR Researcher-Associate at the SMEMaG Doctoral School of CentraleSupelec at the University Paris-Saclay, where the PhD students he supervises are attached.

Has directed the research of more than ten doctoral and post-doctoral students with whom more than 90 articles have been published in journals and at conferences (see https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Chaouki_Habchi).

Member of the scientific committee of the ILASS-EUROPE learned society since 2010 and management of the website http://ilasseurope.org.
