In a few words

In 2012, Marie MARISGLIA (MOIRE) obtained her Master Degree in Chemistry and the French Engineer title from ENSCR. Three years later, she became PhD in Physical Chemistry from UPMC and won IFPEN My PhD in 180s Price thanks to her researches upon the development of a high-throughput microfluidic tensiometer. Her carreer began at IFPEN in the department of "Physical-Chemistry of complex fluids and materials" in order to develop new microfluidic tools and to work on water treatment and chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (cEOR). In this purpose, we developped to microfluidic set-ups operating in harsh conditions of pressure and temperature, one of them being fully automated. Her main researches adress the study of emulsions stability at macro and microscale. She co-supervises a PhD candidate working on the online characterization and separation of emulsion using microfluidic tools. New works studying coalescence phenomena in microfluidic chips are under progress. Finally, Marie is in charge of the organization of the international Microfluidics 2019 conference taking place at IFPEN from November 13th to 15th.
