IFPEN at salon H2 & Carbone Capture Technology World EXPO
The Hydrogen Technology World Expo, coupled with the Carbon Capture Technology World Expo, will be held from October 21 to 23 in Hamburg. IFPEN will be present (France Pavilion – Stand 3D20a) alongside players in the hydrogen sector as well as those in CO₂ capture, storage, and recovery.

Thesis prize: marine life to the rescue of reinforced concrete structures
On 15 October, the fourth IFPEN-ANRT thesis prize was awarded to Julie Dubuit for her civil engineering thesis entitled “Biogalvanic cathodic protection: a benthic microbial fuel cell-based solution against corrosion in marine environments applied to steel-reinforced concrete structures”, defended on 29 April 2024 at Toulouse University.
